Hello my name is May.
Thank you for the opportunity to introduce myself and my organic farm and cooking school experience.
I have had a passion for cooking since I was a
child. In fact, my recipes come
from my growing up with wonderful cooks in my family, my mother and
grandmother. As I grew and studied
I found cooking to be an art, allowing my creativity to blossom through
food. Growing up on a small rural
farm just south of Chiang Mai, I gained an appreciation for raising the food you
cook with and eat. My family still lives there and many of the plants and seeds
we grow in our yard come from my family’s organic farm.
My studies began in my mother’s kitchen, and then
on to France were I lived, studied and cooked professionally. My mother’s devotion to providing
delicious, nutritious meals for our family blended well with the European style
of food.
When I returned from Europe I began
teaching Thai cooking and have enjoyed meeting people from around the world in
my classes. Consistently, I have
received the highest praise for my ability to teach cooking with attention to
each individual student, offering them an understanding of the Thai food,
culture, and history. My unique
skill is in helping students understand how the ingredients and techniques they
use in class translate easily for them to replicate at home.
Teaching you to cook in my country home has been
my life long dream. Please join me
for a day set in a quiet farming community, just 20 minutes from town. You will
have a relaxing and educational experience, allowing you to recharge your travel
energy with beautiful nature, learning about Thai cooking and culture while
