Domestic flights in Thailand are grounded so we drove overnight, 11 hours from Chiang Mai to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi airport. We booked a room at the Novotel hotel for a 17 hours of rest before our flight. A much needed break, not only did we have a long overnight drive but the whole day before the flight was dedicated to finalizing some construction plains, and most importantly navigating the hospital procedures for our covid-19 raped testing “fit to fly” travel documents. Let’s hope our flight is not canceled…..again. Such a big deal to get out of Thailand!
