I hosted a private Thai cooking class at my countryside home and garden farm just outside Chiang Mai. It was one of those easy, feel-good days - relaxed, hands-on, and full of good food from start to finish. Before cooking, we took a break to enjoy butterfly pea flower iced tea, bright blue and refreshing, made the Thai way. We started the day with a visit to a local farmers market, where I introduced everyone to everyday Thai ingredients, fresh herbs, vegetables, and spices that we actually use in Thai home cooking. Walking through the market together is one of my favorite ways to begin a class—it helps connect the food to real life and shows how Thai people shop and cook day to day. After the market, we came back to my garden and took a group photo with the camping tents in the background, which really shows the countryside atmosphere here. This is not a studio or a tourist kitchen—it’s my home, my garden, and the place where I cook every day.  A relaxed start to the day at my countryside home and garden farm. We gathered at the dining table to enjoy the vegetarian dishes we had prepared together, from Pad Thai cooked at the wok to crispy fried spring rolls and a fragrant Thai curry. Because this was a private class, the day moved at our own pace — from the market and garden to the kitchen and finally the table. Sitting together, sharing the meal, and talking about flavors is my favorite part of a private class, where the experience feels personal, relaxed, and truly shared.

At Thai Secret Cooking School in Chiang Mai, I personally teach every Pad Thai cooking class myself. Pad Thai is one of Thailand’s most loved dishes, and in this hands-on class, I guide each guest step by step through the traditional method I use at home. My goal is to help you truly understand the balance of flavors that makes authentic Pad Thai so special.

Thai Secret Cooking School is not an agency or a large operation. I run only one class per day, and I am always present as your teacher. The class takes place in my open-air kitchen, surrounded by gardens and rice fields just outside Chiang Mai. This relaxed setting allows you to enjoy the cooking experience without feeling rushed or overwhelmed.
